"The Yard" was built by Fay Ingalls, President of the Homestead resort which it looks down upon. It is a "...1925 Tudor Revival country estate constructed of stone and half-timbered stucco, capped by a slate-clad gable roof and punctuated by leaded glass casement windows and doors". The sumptuous home surrounds a courtyard which reminds me of England with it's gardens and fountain. The living room has two fireplaces, one of which is huge. The library is magnificent with its cathedral ceiling.
